For 25 years, Alex and Renias have taught traditional skills of animal tracking in Africa, Australia, South and North America. Through their love for the ancient skill they have had the privilege of tracking many of the world’s most charismatic animals such as jaguars, pumas, wolves, kangaroos and lions.
Alex and Renias conduct personalised specialist tracking experiences in many of Africa’s most prominent wildlife areas including Londolozi, Phinda, Tswalu and Mana Pools.
Alex is the Director and Renias, trainer mentor based at Londolozi, of the Tracker Academy. Tracker Academy is a training division of the SA College for Tourism which trains unemployed rural people in traditional skills of tracking for employment in the eco-tourism, animal monitoring and wildlife protection sectors of the conservation industry in southern Africa.
Their book, Tracker Manual, is a bestselling field guide on animal tracks and tracking.
Alex and Renias team up once again to train businesses and teams through their unique cultural diversity presentation.
Alex and Renias work with Boyd Varty to deliver a unique wildlife tracking experience called Track Your Life. Through practising the ancient art of tracking and by engaging the mentality of an expert tracker, the programme teaches one to create one’s own narrative, which allows one to shape and create new life experiences.
